Patrik Kincl says cancelled MMA training program highlights Czech army's poor readiness
Former Oktagon champion Patrik Kincl announced that a combat‑sports conditioning course he designed for Czech soldiers was abruptly cancelled after a change in army leadership. Kincl said the program, which aimed to improve soldiers' physical fitness, had already shown positive results before the termination.
He criticized the army's communication, noting that the project was halted without clear explanation and that many soldiers appear out of shape or overweight. Kincl expressed concern that such shortcomings could affect the military's ability to respond if a conflict were to arise.
