Patriotas Boyacá draws with Real Santander as Unión Pacífico Sur pursues classification

Patriotas Boyacá played Real Santander at the Estadio Daniel Villa Zapata in Barrancabermeja, finishing in a 2‑2 draw. Goalkeeper Juan Daniel Espitia kept a clean sheet early, while Álvarez opened the scoring for Patriotas in the 43rd minute. Real Santander responded with a goal from Dilan Tapia to take the lead, but Patriotas equalised in the 79th minute after a quick transition. Coach Carlos Giraldo was shown a direct red card after an altercation with Real Santander player Juan Guillén.

League leaders Unión Pacífico Sur are set to face Túquerres FC on 2 August at the Alberto León Mantilla stadium. Coming off an 8‑2 victory over Leones de Nariño, Unión Pacífico Sur aim to secure a spot in the next round of the Primera C tournament. Túquerres FC, fresh from a 3‑2 win over Deportivo La Sabana, will look to stay in contention for a top‑five finish.
