Patriotic Party of Aruba announces San Nicolas center renovation

The Patriotic Party of Aruba (PPA) has announced the renovation of its Patriotic Center in San Nicolas. Party leaders Eduard Pieters and Michael Bernabela stated that the project has entered its final preparation and design phase, with reconstruction expected to begin shortly. The center is intended to serve as a multifunctional community hub for political meetings, information gathering, and citizen participation.

In a related development regarding the party's historical focus, PPA parliamentary leader Eduard Pieters met with researcher Michel Nicolaas, who is documenting the legacy of Juan Enrique “Juancho” Yrausquin. Nicolaas is authoring a book based on extensive research in Aruba, Curaçao, and the Netherlands to detail Yrausquin's contributions to Aruba's modern infrastructure, including tourism, water desalination, and environmental protection.
