Quarterback Drake Maye said the Patriots’ Super Bowl defeat to the Seattle Seahawks has left him hungry and determined to get better. At day two of New England’s training camp he completed six of twelve pass attempts and threw his first interception of camp, picked off by safety Craig Woodson after a tip from receiver A.J. Brown. Defensive backs Christian Gonzalez and Milton Williams also made plays on his throws.

Coach Mike Vrabel stressed a heightened sense of urgency for the camp, and the team is already looking ahead to a nationally televised rematch with Seattle on Sept. 9. The Patriots acquired A.J. Brown and Romeo Doubs for the 2026 season, adding the veteran receiver to a backfield that will rely on Maye’s chemistry with his new weapon.
