Patrizia Reggiani, 77, the former wife of fashion magnate Maurizio Gucci, was admitted to the intensive‑care unit of the Infermi Hospital in Rimini following a sudden malore while on holiday in Riccione. The episode occurred in the late morning of a Monday, when she was on the terrace of a four‑star hotel (Perla Verde). Her personal assistant called emergency services, an ambulance arrived, and she was transferred to Rimini for urgent treatment. Doctors have kept the cause under strict confidentiality; hypotheses include prolonged exposure to high temperatures and direct sunlight.
