Patro Eisden appoints Emilio Ferrera as new head coach

Patro Eisden has appointed Emilio Ferrera as its new head coach following the departure of Stijn Stijnen from the coaching role. Ferrera has signed a contract for an indefinite period and takes over duties immediately.

Stijnen, who previously served as a goalkeeper at Club Brugge while Ferrera was coaching there, will transition into a full-time role as the club's sporting director. Stijnen played a key role in the search for a successor, prioritizing experience and personality.

Ferrera brings extensive experience to the Challenger Pro League club, having previously managed teams such as Club Brugge, KRC Genk, and KSC Lokeren. He expressed his commitment to discipline, structure, and a winning culture to help the club meet its ambitions.
