Patryk Dudek injured in speedway crash during IMP

Speedway rider Patryk Dudek was involved in a crash during the Individual Polish Championships (IMP) in Ostrowo. The incident occurred during the second heat when Bartosz Zmarzlik attempted an aggressive maneuver on the inside curve, resulting in Dudek falling and hitting the inflatable barrier.

Dudek was taken to the hospital for further examination after complaining of neck pain. While initial reports indicated he was shaken, a subsequent club statement confirmed that although he is bruised, there are no fractures.

Due to the injury, Dudek is expected to miss the upcoming PGE Ekstraliga match against Betard Sparta Wrocław. His team, Pres Grupa Deweloperska Toruń, will likely rely on junior riders to fill his spot in the lineup.
