Patsy Kensit reflects on marriage to Liam Gallagher and career hiatus

Actress Patsy Kensit has reflected on her marriage to Oasis frontman Liam Gallagher, stating that she “lost part of who I was” during the relationship. Speaking on Davina McCall’s “Begin Again” podcast, Kensit described the pressure of the relationship, noting it became “bigger than me.”

Kensit revealed that Noel Gallagher previously confronted her regarding the hiatus in her acting career. She recalled Noel asking why she was no longer working, to which she admitted she was “too afraid to leave him on his one.” Kensit credited Noel with encouraging her to refocus on her professional ambitions.

Kensit and Liam Gallagher married in 1997 and divorced in 2000. The actress, who appeared in films such as “Lethal Weapon 2” and “Absolute Beginners,” is currently preparing to return to the soap opera “Emmerdale” after a 20-year absence.
