Patterson-Gimlin Bigfoot film released in new 4K scan

A new 4K scan of the 1967 Patterson-Gimlin Bigfoot film has been released, providing the highest quality version of the footage to date. The scan was created directly from the original 16mm film held in the Patterson family collection and will replace previous VHS copies used for licensing.

The enhanced footage is part of the upcoming documentary ‘Capturing Bigfoot’, directed by Marq Evans. The film explores the history of the footage recorded in Northern California and features insights from Roger Patterson’s son and other individuals connected to the original event. The documentary aims to examine the legacy and the people involved in the decades-old mystery.
