Pau celebrates the feast of Santa Prisca from September 1–3

The town of Pau will host a three-day celebration in honor of Santa Prisca from Tuesday, September 1, to Thursday, September 3. Organized by the local committee and parish, the event combines religious ceremonies with traditional music, dance, and local gastronomy.

Religious activities include processions of the Santa Prisca simulacrum accompanied by ox yokes and various confraternities, as well as masses featuring local choirs. Civil festivities include traditional dances such as ‘Su Ball’e Cresia’, local food festivals like the ‘Sagra del Maiale Arrosto’, and musical performances ranging from folk groups to the ‘Pau Rock Concert’, which features folk blues, instrumental rock, and heavy metal.
