Pau Cubarsí and Martina Riera end relationship

FC Barcelona defender Pau Cubarsí and Martina Riera have ended their relationship after approximately one and a half years together.

According to journalist Javi Hoyos, who spoke with sources close to Riera, the split was amicable and did not involve third parties. The separation became apparent after the couple stopped following each other on social media.

Cubarsí and Riera were childhood friends before beginning their romantic relationship. They had maintained a relatively private profile, though they were seen together during the recent World Cup. Their relationship had been publicly acknowledged following FC Barcelona's La Liga title celebrations.
