Paul Adamietz plays Recklinghausen's second-largest organ
Paul Adamietz, a 17-year-old student from Herten, is performing on the second-largest organ in Recklinghausen at the Liebfrauenkirche. While attending school, Adamietz is also undergoing a two-year training program to become a C-level church musician for the Diocese of Münster.
Adamietz frequently accompanies religious services, sometimes playing up to five services in a single weekend during holiday periods. He utilizes the Liebfrauenkirche organ, which features 56 registers, noting that the instrument's wide range of sounds allows for everything from soft tones to rich orchestral textures during his improvisations.
