Paul Aron faces investigation in Estonia over military service

Alpine Formula 1 reserve driver Paul Aron is under investigation by Estonian authorities for failing to attend mandatory medical evaluations required for compulsory military service. According to reports, Aron received seven official summons and notifications to appear before a government body for fitness examinations.

The case has been referred to the Estonian Defence Resources Agency. In Estonia, men between the ages of 18 and 27 are legally obligated to undergo military service, which includes training with reserve units of the Defence Forces.

In addition to the investigation, Aron has accumulated fines exceeding 1,940 euros. He also faces the potential loss of his driver's license for passenger vehicles. Aron's legal team has intervened to schedule the necessary medical examinations before the final deadline to regularize his status and prevent further legal consequences.
