Marvel Studios announces Disney+ series VisionQuest for October 2026

Marvel Studios has released new promotional material and featurettes for the upcoming Disney+ series ‘VisionQuest’, scheduled to premiere on October 14, 2026. The eight-episode series serves as the conclusion to the television trilogy that began with ‘WandaVision’ and continued with ‘Agatha All Along’.

Starring Paul Bettany as Vision, the story follows the character as he seeks to rediscover his humanity and purpose after the events of ‘WandaVision’. The plot involves Vision navigating his existence by consulting various artificial intelligences embedded in his programming, including J.A.R.V.I.S., F.R.I.D.A.Y., E.D.I.T.H., and the returning Ultron, played by James Spader. The series also introduces Thomas Shepard, a mysterious boy who may be the reincarnation of Vision’s son.

Showrunner Terry Matalas has described the series as a blend of drama, adventure, mystery, and surreal comedy. The production features a cast including Ruaridh Mollica, Todd Stashwick, and T’Nia Miller. The release of ‘VisionQuest’ precedes the theatrical release of ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ in December 2026.
