Paul Eboua signs with Italy's Derthona Basket

Cameroonian forward Paul Eboua (203 cm, born 15 Feb 2000) has joined Derthona Basket. The player returns to Italy after a half‑season in France with ASVEL Lyon‑Villeurbanne, where he debuted in the EuroLeague, and a stint with Trapani in the Italian Serie A. In his last season he averaged 10.7 points and 9.2 rebounds in Serie A and 7.6 points with 4.3 rebounds in EuroLeague play. Eboua, a 27‑time Cameroon national team member who helped the side finish fourth at Afrobasket 2025, said, “I wanted to return to Italy and play for a structured, well‑organized club. Coach Fioretti’s vision convinced me, and I see a great opportunity wearing the Derthona jersey.”
