Paul-Ehrlich-Institut releases SafeVac-2.0 study data
The Paul-Ehrlich-Institut (PEI) has released the results of the SafeVac-2.0 study, which evaluated data from approximately 740,000 participants following the administration of 1.4 million COVID-19 vaccine doses.
Data analyst and expert Tom Lausen noted that the study reported over 4 million possible side effects. Lausen criticized the study, describing it as a “fig leaf” because the PEI was reportedly overwhelmed during the initial vaccine monitoring period. He suggested that patients reporting serious adverse events or “adverse events of special interest” were not adequately followed up to determine clinical outcomes, such as hospitalizations.
Other reports highlight that the study, published in the journal Vaccine, shows significantly higher rates of suspected side effects and deaths compared to conventional vaccines. Critics argue that while these findings were emerging, public health officials continued to promote the safety of mRNA vaccines through various forms of social and professional pressure.
