Paul Heyman praises WWE creative under Triple H and acknowledges AEW's impact on the industry

Paul Heyman said Triple H (Paul Levesque) is the best person to lead WWE’s creative direction, noting his willingness to pivot, work with algorithms and collaborators, and his success in turning performers such as Oba Femi, Trick Williams, Je’Von Evans and Sol Ruca into attractions. He added that WWE creative is "better than ever" under Levesque’s guidance.

Heyman expressed enthusiasm for AEW, arguing that its presence has raised talent compensation and that ECW’s legacy influences AEW’s style – citing Jon Moxley as a modern Sandman and the Rob Van Dam vs. Jerry Lynn dynamic. He recalled an emotional WrestleMania 42 moment with Brock Lesnar, describing their on‑stage exchange of gratitude and love.

He also revealed his macro‑level involvement in planning WrestleMania 43 in Saudi Arabia, proposing a potential Roman Reigns vs Cody Rhodes trilogy there. Heyman criticized WWE’s handling of Cesaro as a "tremendously wasted opportunity" and recounted ECW’s 2000 bankruptcy episode, including Shane McMahon’s attempt to purchase the promotion and Vince McMahon’s decision to keep Heyman inside WWE.
