Paul Krugman to lecture on global economy in Naples

Nobel laureate Paul Krugman is scheduled to deliver a lecture at the University of Naples Federico II on Monday, October 12. The event, held in the university's historic Aula Magna, will focus on major global economic transformations and the future challenges facing Europe.

Krugman, a professor at the City University of New York, will be joined by former European Commission President Romano Prodi and economist Peter Nijkamp. The discussion is expected to address critical issues such as the sustainability of French public finances, the potential for systemic crises within the eurozone, and the role of Southern Italy in the context of digitalization, labor, and artificial intelligence.
