Paul of 01099 to release debut solo album

Paul, a member of the band 01099, is releasing his first solo album, titled ‘Panzerglas Pop’, on September 4. The decision to pursue a solo project comes during a period where the band has collectively decided to reduce their pace after years of frequent album releases and touring.

The musician noted that his new music, including the single ‘Prima’, maintains some similarities to the sound of 01099, which he considers a natural reflection of his musical identity. Currently residing in Leipzig, Paul expressed a strong commitment to remaining in eastern Germany and Saxony, citing a personal connection to the region despite its challenges.
