Paul Schrader to film ‘Non Compos Mentis’ with Liam Hemsworth

Director and screenwriter Paul Schrader is preparing to film his new erotic thriller, ‘Non Compos Mentis’. The production has undergone significant casting changes prior to the start of filming.

Liam Hemsworth remains the lead actor. Sam Worthington has joined the cast, replacing Caleb Landry Jones, while Cara Delevingne has taken over the role previously assigned to Sarah Pidgeon.

The film follows two privileged brothers—a New York defense attorney and a corporate heir—as they navigate their mother's descent into dementia. The plot involves a consuming affair that evolves into an obsession, betrayal, and a battle over family wealth. Filming is scheduled to begin in New York this October.
