Paul Seixas leads Decathlon‑CMA CGM team at Tour de France 2026

French prodigy Paul Seixas, who became French junior road champion and rode for AG2R Citroën U19 before turning professional in 2024, is set to compete in the 2026 Tour de France with the Decathlon‑CMA CGM squad. The team rides the RCR‑R bike, marketed as an affordable but ultra‑versatile machine that can also be purchased by amateurs from Decathlon stores. The RCR‑R weighs just under 7 kg, meets UCI regulations, and features a 54‑41 double chainring, 10‑36 cassette, 29‑inch front and 28‑inch rear wheels, with fully customisable setups for each rider. A prototype of a new model is being tested and may replace the RCR‑R later in 2026. Decathlon’s strategy is to maximise exposure during the Tour, using Seixas’s youthful success and the bike’s performance to boost the brand’s image in elite sport.
