Paul Seixas named leader for French cycling team at World Championships

French national selector Thomas Voeckler has announced the men's roster for the upcoming Road Cycling World Championships, held in Montréal from September 20 to 27. The team will be built around 19-year-old Paul Seixas, who has been designated as the undisputed leader for the road race.

Seixas will be supported by teammates from Decathlon CMA CGM, Nicolas Prodhomme and Jordan Labrosse, alongside Pavel Sivakov, Bruno Armirail, Valentin Paret-Peintre, and Alex Baudin. The status of Louis Barré remains uncertain following a training accident that resulted in a wrist injury.

In the women's selection, notable absences include Pauline Ferrand-Prévot. The female roster will feature Juliette Berthet, Cédrinne Kerbaol, Marie Le Net, Célia Gery, Léa Curinier, Maëva Squiban, and Evita Muzic.
