Paul Skenes and Olivia Dunne vacation in Florida amid pitching scrutiny

Pittsburgh Pirates pitcher Paul Skenes and his girlfriend, Olivia Dunne, were recently seen vacationing in Florida. The couple visited Key Biscayne and Lake Oconee following a recent game against the Miami Marlins.

The outing follows a period of scrutiny regarding Skenes’ performance, specifically a recent dip in his fastball velocity. During a game against the Marlins, Skenes was pulled after 65 pitches and failed to exceed 96.5 mph. While former MLB pitcher Curt Schilling questioned Skenes’ physical conditioning on social media, both Skenes and Pirates manager Don Kelly have clarified that the pitcher is not currently dealing with an injury.

Skenes expressed understanding regarding his early removal from the Marlins game, stating he respected the manager's decision. The team is currently focused on managing his workload to regain his previous form.
