Paul Smith and Barbour launch Highland-inspired collection

Paul Smith and Barbour have launched their third collaborative fashion collection, inspired by the traditions of the Scottish Highlands. The 38-piece collection draws aesthetic influence from the annual Highland Games, incorporating elements of strength and endurance associated with the event.

A central feature of the collection is the reinterpretation of Barbour’s ‘original’ and ‘authentic’ tartans. The designer has applied a vibrant color palette to these traditional patterns, integrating shades of pink, orange, and yellow. The collection also includes reimagined versions of classic garments, such as the Beaufort Jacket, which has been produced in navy corduroy and merino wool with windowpane checks.
