Paul University suspends lecturer Cornelius Eze over sexual misconduct

Paul University, a private Anglican‑affiliated institution in Awka, Anambra State, announced the indefinite suspension of lecturer Cornelius Eze, a practical biology technologist and Anglican priest, following allegations of serious sexual misconduct reported on 14 July. The university management invited security agencies to intervene and placed Eze on suspension pending the outcome of internal disciplinary proceedings and any law‑enforcement investigations.

University officials said arrangements are being made to provide counselling and therapeutic support to affected students and staff, reaffirming the institution’s commitment to integrity, due process and a safe learning environment.
