Paul Walker's brother suggests AI for Fast & Furious finale

Cody Walker, brother of the late Paul Walker, has stated that he and his brother Caleb will not return as physical stand-ins for Paul's character, Brian O'Conner, in the upcoming Fast & Furious finale, titled ‘Fast Forever’.

While Vin Diesel has expressed a desire to reunite the characters of Dominic Toretto and Brian O'Conner for the film's conclusion, Cody Walker suggested that modern artificial intelligence and unused archival footage could allow the character to return without the need for family members to act as doubles.

Cody emphasized that any decision regarding the character's return should ultimately rest with Paul Walker's daughter, Meadow Walker. He noted that he was satisfied with how the character exited the franchise in ‘Furious 7’, where Brian chose to retire from street racing to raise his family. ‘Fast Forever’ is currently scheduled for release on March 17, 2028.
