Paula Badosa ends coaching partnership with Pol Toledo

Spanish tennis player Paula Badosa is undergoing a career reset following the end of her coaching partnership with Pol Toledo. The collaboration, which lasted nearly four years, included significant milestones such as Badosa reaching the Australian Open semifinals in 2025 and returning to the WTA top 10.

Toledo confirmed the split on social media, describing the period as a journey of “overcoming injuries, picking ourselves back up, reaching the Australian Open semifinal,” and shared that it was time to “close a chapter.”

Badosa, a former world No. 2, has faced challenges with injuries and inconsistent rankings, at one point falling outside the top 100. She is currently working to regain momentum and climb back up the rankings. Her upcoming schedule includes tournaments in Osaka, Guangzhou, and Hong Kong as she aims to prepare for the 2027 season.
