Yealimi Noh Takes Three-Shot Lead at Women's British Open

American 25‑year‑old Yealimi Noh shot a two‑under 69 in the third round of the 2026 AIG Women’s Open at Royal Lytham & St Annes, moving to 7‑under and a three‑shot lead heading into the final round. She recovered from early bogeys with a back‑nine surge, posting four birdies in the last ten holes.

Five players share second place at four‑under: Japan’s Shiho Kuwaki, South Korea’s Haeran Ryu, Thailand’s Jeeno Thitikul, USA’s Lucy Li and Germany’s Esther Henseleit. Ryu, who had led after the first two rounds, fell back after a stretch of five bogeys, ending three shots behind Noh. England’s Lottie Woad and Charley Hull remain within striking distance, while Spanish amateur Paula Martín sits five shots off the lead.

Noh said the wind and tempo on the demanding links course were key factors, and she expressed confidence ahead of Sunday’s final round.
