Paula Löber named 78th German Wine Queen
Paula Löber, a 29-year-old project manager from the Saale-Unstrut wine region in Saxony-Anhalt, has been crowned the 78th German Wine Queen. The selection took place during a final in Neustadt an der Weinstraße.
Löber, representing Germany's northernmost wine-growing region, will serve as a brand ambassador for approximately 14,000 wine businesses for one year, conducting promotional duties both domestically and internationally. She received the crown from her predecessor, Anna Zenz.
Joining the new queen are two German Wine Princesses: Kathrin Knieriem from Rheinhessen and Natalie Schäfter from Württemberg. The finalists were evaluated by a jury and the audience based on their expertise in viticulture, cellar management, and marketing, as well as their ability to handle spontaneous questions and blind tastings.
