Paula Martín and Andrea Revuelta top World Amateur Golf Rankings

Spanish golfers Paula Martín and Andrea Revuelta have secured the top two positions in the World Amateur Golf Ranking (WAGR). This marks the first time in history that two Spanish players have occupied the top two spots simultaneously.

Paula Martín ascends to the number one position following the transition of American player Kiara Romero to the professional circuit. Martín, a student at Stanford University, becomes the second Spaniard to reach the top of the amateur rankings, following Julia López.

Both athletes are teammates at Stanford and have represented Spanish national teams in various capacities. Martín is set to compete in the LPGA Tour's FM Championship, receiving an invitation to play alongside professional golfers.
