Paula Patton and Derek Luke to star in Lifetime movie ‘Love on the Vineyard’

Lifetime has announced the original movie ‘Love on the Vineyard’, starring Paula Patton and Derek Luke. The film, which reunites the two actors following their work in the 2013 film ‘Baggage Claim’, is scheduled to premiere on Saturday, November 21, 2026.

Set in Martha’s Vineyard, the story follows Jordan Wilson (Patton), a successful commercial real estate executive from Washington, D.C. Upon returning to the island with her teenage daughter, she reconnects with her former summer love, Eric Robinson (Luke). The plot involves a struggle to preserve a historic inn in Oak Bluffs, a location noted for its deep significance to the local Black community.

Janet Hubert joins the cast as Shirley Evans. The project is executive produced by Tracey E. Edmonds and produced by Edmonds Entertainment and FOX Entertainment Studios. The film serves as the conclusion to Lifetime’s ‘Love of a Lifetime’ autumn programming series.
