Paula Pimenta launches new book 'A Música da Minha Vida

Author Paula Pimenta is releasing her new book, ‘A Música da Minha Vida – Volume 1’, during the 6th Itabira International Literary Festival (Flitabira). The story follows Juju, a 14-year-old girl who uses music to navigate adolescence, friendships, and family secrets.

The novel, published by Editora Autêntica, is set within the same universe as Pimenta’s previous series, ‘Fazendo Meu Filme’ and ‘Minha Vida Fora de Série’, featuring returning characters. The launch event, which includes a talk and an autograph session, is scheduled for November 1 at the Teatro da Fundação Cultural Carlos Drummond de Andrade.

Pimenta noted that while she enjoys writing about adolescent experiences and pop culture, she is also developing ideas for future projects involving adult protagonists and fantasy elements.
