Paulina Porizkova discusses feeling invisible to men in her 50s

Former supermodel Paulina Porizkova has shared her experiences regarding the sense of invisibility she felt as she entered her late 50s. After decades of international fame and being recognized as one of the fashion industry’s most prominent faces, Porizkova noted a significant shift in social attention around age 58.

Reflecting on her return to the dating scene following her divorce from the late Ric Ocasek, Porizkova described the experience as startling. She noted that the lack of attention extended to both social settings, such as parties, and digital platforms. Specifically, she mentioned her experience on the dating app Raya, stating, “Older women are f***ing invisible on Raya.”

Porizkova, now 61, eventually found companionship with television writer Jeff Greenstein. The couple married in July after dating for three years.
