Pauline Julien biopic set for Quebec release this September
The film ‘PAULINE JULIEN : FEMME PAYS’, directed by Anaïs Barbeau-Lavalette, is scheduled for release in Quebec cinemas on September 25. The biographical film portrays the life of Pauline Julien, a prominent figure in Quebec’s musical and cultural history.
In preparation for the release, the film’s team, including the director and cast, will embark on a promotional tour through several cities, including Chicoutimi, Quebec City, Trois-Rivières, Sherbrooke, and Gatineau. A grand premiere will be held in Montreal on September 21 at the Monument National in collaboration with the CINEMANIA film festival.
The film is co-written by Anaïs Barbeau-Lavalette and Véronique Côté, with Suzanne Clément portraying Pauline Julien and Patrice Dubois playing Gérald Godin. The production is supported by Axia Films and Bravo Charlie.
