Paulo Dybala extends contract with AS Roma until 2027

Argentine forward Paulo Dybala has signed a new agreement with AS Roma that runs to 30 June 2027. The renewal was confirmed by the club after waiting for the closure of its financial statements. Under the deal Dybala accepts a reduced net salary of about €3 million per season, with performance bonuses that could raise the total to roughly €4 million, and there is no automatic extension clause.

Dybala praised the move, saying “This story continues as we all wanted” in the club’s official announcement. The contract ends months of speculation about a possible transfer back to Boca Juniors; the Argentine side’s hopes of re‑uniting Dybala with teammate Leandro Paredes have been put on hold for now. With the extension secured, Dybala will remain a key figure for Roma in Serie A and the upcoming Champions League campaign.

Fans of Boca expressed disappointment on social media, but Roma highlighted Dybala’s contribution of 139 appearances and 45 goals since joining in 2022, confirming his status as a technical leader and fan favourite.
