Paulo Dybala extends contract with AS Roma

Argentine striker Paulo Dybala has extended his contract with AS Roma for one year. Following a difficult season marked by thigh, hamstring, and knee injuries, Dybala has agreed to a significant reduction in his fixed salary, decreasing from 8 million to 2.2 million euros net.

The new agreement includes substantial performance-based bonuses tied to goals, assists, and appearances. These incentives are designed to potentially restore his earnings to the highest level in the squad if he maintains regularity. For instance, he is set to receive 100,000 euros for matches lasting longer than 45 minutes.

Dybala, known as ‘La Joya’, began his professional career at Instituto Atlético Central Córdoba in Argentina before moving to Italy to play for Palermo in 2012. He has since established himself as a prominent figure in Serie A.
