Paulo Dybala renews contract with AS Roma

Argentine forward Paulo Dybala has renewed his contract with AS Roma for another season, despite interest from several major clubs. Reports indicate that Dybala rejected an offer to return to his former club, Juventus, as well as inquiries from Napoli.

The renewal was reportedly facilitated by coach Gian Piero Gasperini, who played a crucial role in mediating negotiations between the player and the club's ownership. To ensure the deal met Roma's financial requirements, Dybala agreed to a significant reduction in his salary.

Dybala's decision to remain in Rome was driven by his loyalty to Gasperini and the project in the capital. Other clubs monitoring his situation included Milan and Como, but the 32-year-old chose to prioritize his commitment to the Giallorossi.
