Paulo Dybala set to sign new contract with AS Roma

AS Roma is poised to complete the renewal of Argentine forward Paulo Dybala. After his return to Rome, the player’s agent Carlos Novelè arrived at the club’s Trigoria training centre to finalise a one‑year deal worth about €3 million net per season, plus performance bonuses. Dybala is expected to sign the contract within the next 24 hours, ending the uncertainty that followed weeks of speculation.

The renewal comes as the club, now overseen by new sporting director Tony D’Amico, prepares for pre‑season under head coach Gian Piero Gasperini. D’Amico’s first press conference will outline the club’s transfer strategy, including the impending extensions of midfielder Zeki Çelik and the pending negotiations with captain Lorenzo Pellegrini. Roma’s transfer targets remain active, with names such as Alejandro Garnacho, Diego Moreira, Nicolò Tresoldi and a possible bid for Mason Greenwood mentioned in various reports.

Overall, the club aims to build a squad capable of competing in Serie A and the Champions League as it celebrates its centenary season.
