Pauls Jonass finishes sixth in MXGP Swedish Grand Prix qualification

Latvian motocross rider Pauls Jonass marked a successful return to competition at the MXGP Swedish Grand Prix in Udevalla, finishing sixth in the MXGP class qualification. After a two-race hiatus, Jonass held fifth place during the early laps before finishing sixth.

In the MXGP qualification, championship leader Jeffrey Herlings took first place, followed by Tim Gajser in second and Romain Febvre in third. In the MX2 class, Jānis Mārtiņš Reišulis secured a third-place finish, while Kārlis Alberts Reišulis placed 13th. German rider Simon Langenfeld won the MX2 qualification.

The event also included EMX250 and EMX125 European Championship rounds, where Jēkabs Kubuliņš finished 12th and Jēkabs Hudolejs finished 14th in their respective first heats.
