Paupisi culinary tradition to be featured at Solopaca Festa dell’Uva
The Pro Loco of Paupisi will participate in the Festa dell’Uva in Solopaca from September 11 to 14. As part of the “Saperi & Sapori” initiative, the group will present Cecatielli, a traditional handmade pasta representative of the local gastronomy of the Sannio region.
This participation follows the cancellation of the 53rd Festival of Flavors and Street Artists in Paupisi, which was suspended due to a bereavement within the community. The presence in Solopaca serves as a way to preserve and share the town's culinary heritage. The event will be held in the Gardens of the Municipality of Solopaca, with stands opening every evening at 7:00 PM and a special lunch service scheduled for Sunday.
