Pavel Nedvěd faces potential fine over sponsorship breach
Pavel Nedvěd, the general manager of the Czech national football teams, is facing a potential fine of 80,000 euros (approximately 2 million CZK) due to a sponsorship conflict. The Football Association of the Czech Republic (FAČR) is addressing a demand from Puma, which was a long-term partner of the national team.
Reports indicate that Nedvěd repeatedly appeared at official events wearing clothing from Adidas, a direct competitor to Puma. Following previous warnings from the sponsor, Puma has requested a contractual penalty. Minutes from an executive committee meeting suggest that Nedvěd may be required to pay the fine personally due to the repeated nature of the breach.
