Pavel Sulc attracts major European interest amid €50m valuation

Olympique Lyonnais attacking midfielder Pavel Sulc is attracting significant interest from several major European clubs. Following a strong season with 15 goals and 10 assists last year, the 25-year-old Czech international is being monitored by clubs including Atlético Madrid, Aston Villa, and Juventus.

During the summer transfer window, Wrexham reportedly made a club-record offer of approximately £35 million to sign the player, but the move was rejected. Sulc expressed that while Wrexham is a “cult club with a Hollywood fairytale story,” he did not wish to move to the Championship or a small town in Wales.

Lyon has reportedly set a valuation of €50 million for the player, who is under contract until June 2029. While Leeds United has also been linked with the attacker, Lyon is expected to retain Sulc through the end of the current season, potentially looking at a transfer in the summer of 2027.
