Paviljon film wins screenplay and audience awards
The film ‘Paviljon’, directed by Dino Mustafić, has received further international acclaim. At the Festival international du film de Bretagne in France, the film won the award for Best Screenplay (Meilleur Scénario) in the European Film selection. The screenplay was written by Viktor Ivančić and co-written by Emir Imamović Pirke.
The jury described the film as a ‘dark and powerful political satire’ that addresses the institutional neglect of the elderly, using irony to explore themes of dignity, freedom, and rebellion.
Additionally, ‘Paviljon’ won the Audience Award for Best Feature Film at the 12th Brač Film Festival. The award was accepted by actor Zijah Sokolović and co-producer Igor Vranjković. The film has previously won over thirty awards across various regional and international festivals following its premiere at the Sarajevo Film Festival.
