Pavlikeni to host sports weekend and inaugurate renovated athletics track

Pavlikeni is hosting a major sports weekend featuring the official opening of the renovated athletics track at Gancho Panov Stadium on September 27. The renovation project, valued at approximately 659,422 euros, was funded through an agreement with the Ministry of Regional Development and Public Works as part of a municipal investment program.

The festivities include the inaugural 'PAVLIKENI RUN' on September 26, a charity race with distances of 800m, 3.5km, and 7km. Proceeds from adult participation fees will support the construction of an external access platform for wheelchair users at the Pavlikeni Center for Social Services.

Additionally, the Rotary Club Pavlikeni will organize the ninth annual children's football tournament on September 27 at the Bacho Kiro school playground, held under the patronage of Mayor Emanuel Manolov.
