Pavlos Liaros recalls real physical altercations with Lambros Konstantaras

Actor Pavlos Liaros shared recollections regarding his work on the 1968 comedy film ‘O Striglos pou egine arniki’ during an appearance on the television program ‘Studio sti 3’.

Liaros revealed that the physical altercations depicted in the film between his character and the character played by Lambros Konstantaras were real. He noted that during the first filming session, Konstantaras struck him in the head, prompting Liaros to adopt a defensive stance for the remainder of the scenes to avoid being hit.

Liaros also discussed how he accepted the role despite his background in dramatic theater, noting that he was facing financial difficulties at the time. He mentioned that the film was successful but missed its full potential due to its February release date.
