Pavlos Marinakis criticizes Alexis Tsipras over political program

Government spokesperson Pavlos Marinakis has criticized former Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras following a recent television interview. Marinakis accused Tsipras of failing to provide realistic answers to citizens' concerns regarding the present and future of their families.

Specifically, Marinakis noted that Tsipras avoided addressing the costs of his proposed program, which his own economic sector head estimated at 7.5 billion euros annually rather than over a four-year period. The spokesperson also dismissed Tsipras's energy proposals as empty promises and criticized his previous legislative changes to the Penal Code regarding serious crimes and bribery.
