Pavlos Tsitsipas receives wild card for Szczecin tennis tournament

Pavlos Tsitsipas, the 21-year-old younger brother of former world number three Stefanos Tsitsipas, has been awarded a wild card to compete in the qualifying rounds of the Invest in Szczecin Open. The Greek player, who has previously competed in ITF international tournaments, will have the opportunity to fight for a spot in the main draw of the Szczecin Challenger.

Tournament director Krzysztof Bobala stated that the decision to grant the wild card followed a request from Apostolos Tsitsipas. In addition to Pavlos, the organizers have awarded three qualifying wild cards to young Polish tennis players: Jan Chłodnicki, Oliwier Sterniczuk, and Filip Pieczonka, aiming to provide local talent with competitive opportunities.
