PAW Patrol Dino Movie opens globally, adds new game world

The third PAW Patrol feature film, PAW Patrol: The Dino Movie, premiered in theaters on August 6 (with a special family screening on August 1 at Rio Centro Ceibos in Ecuador). Directed by Cal Brunker and produced by Spin Master Entertainment, the Canadian studio behind the franchise, the adventure follows the rescue pups stranded on an island where dinosaurs survive, and a subplot where a mayor hunts for hidden diamonds.

The release follows the 2021 and 2023 entries that earned $145 million and $200 million worldwide. To coincide with the August 14 theatrical launch, the PAW Patrol Rescue World mobile app added a new Dino Wilds world, letting players rescue dinosaurs, unlock Dino‑themed skins for Marshall, Chase and Rocky, and explore a jungle swamp, volcano plains and other prehistoric locations, with optional in‑app purchases.

The tie‑in underscores the franchise’s ongoing merchandising strategy aimed at preschool‑age children and families across markets such as Ecuador, Mexico and Germany.
