Paw Patrol: The Dino Movie arrives in theaters with prehistoric adventure

The animated franchise Paw Patrol releases its third feature film, ‘Paw Patrol: The Dino Movie’, on August 14. The plot follows the pups as they are stranded on a tropical island filled with prehistoric creatures. There, they meet Rex, a dinosaur expert who uses a wheelchair, and must work together to stop Mayor Humdinger from causing a volcanic disaster through irresponsible mining.

Director Cal Brunker and writer Bob Barlen noted that the film aims to build on previous installments by focusing on themes of perseverance, specifically through the character Marshall. The film has also been highlighted for its messages regarding environmental conservation and inclusion.

To coincide with the release, major theater chains including AMC, Cinemark, and Regal are offering various themed collectibles. AMC is featuring a dog-bowl-style popcorn bucket designed to be used as a pet treat dish at home, while other chains are providing dinosaur-themed containers, lunchboxes, and character-themed snack packs.
