Pawan Kalyan shifts Deputy CM office to Pithapuram

Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan has announced plans to shift his camp office to Pithapuram to improve accessibility for constituents and more directly monitor local issues. The move follows observations that many residents travel long distances to submit petitions. Kalyan intends to take direct responsibility for monitoring public grievances, noting that previous committee efforts were insufficient. The full-fledged office is expected to be operational within three to four months.

During a two-day constituency tour, Kalyan also launched development projects valued at 1,500 crore rupees. These initiatives aim to transform Pithapuram into a model constituency through infrastructure improvements and environmental projects. Key developments include the inauguration of a renovated tank, a walking track, and a children’s park in Fakruddin Palem. Additionally, foundation stones were laid for urban forest projects and tank beautification efforts supported by both state and central government schemes, such as the Nagar Van Yojana and Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchayee Yojana.
